Many people travel there to watch a Saturday football game. Indiana is also known for its beautiful Indiana Dunes State Park that hugs 15 miles of shoreline on Lake Michigan. Whether you enjoy scouting for rare species of birds or flying kites on the sandy beach, the national park's 15,000 acres will continually enchant you. Hikers will enjoy 50 miles of trails over rugged dunes, mysterious wetlands, sunny prairies, meandering rivers and peaceful forests. As you can see this is only a small glimpse of things to do in Indiana. This is definitely a trip worth taking!
