The Sunshine State. We all can recognize the state nickname belonging to Florida. As a visitor or possible transplant to Florida you will find an amazing amount of things to do and see. Florida also has the most golf courses of any state in the U.S. Known for being the Theme Park Capital of the world there are other things that can draw you in in Florida. Florida is home to Kennedy Space Center on its central Atlantic coast, giving rise to the name “Space Coast” for this part of the state. Kennedy Space Center houses an extensive collection of rockets and memorabilia which attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors every year. Florida is such a mix of polished cities such as Miami and Orlando, but also there are rural towns that are steeped in country living. Most of the south is made up of the Everglades. 3 million acres cover Florida with an ecosystem that can’t be found anywhere else in the world. Let’s not forget the luscious oranges that are grown in Florida and shipped all over the world.
