When you conjure up thoughts of the state of Delaware the first thing that comes to mind is probably not their beautiful beaches. That would prove to be wrong. Delaware has some of the cleanest beaches in the United States. Water activities top the list of things to do in Delaware, Kayaking and paddleboarding are two of the most popular. Some other attractions that are popular in Delaware include The Hagley Museum and Library which is located on the shore of Brandywine Creek. The Hagley Museum and Library is a historical museum with numerous interactive educational experiences. It occupies 235 acres of prime Delaware land that follow the trail of Brandywine Creek. White Clay Creek State Park is at the very northwestern corner of Delaware opposite of the beaches and water activities. History buffs will love that the Mason-Dixon line runs right through White Clay Creek State Park with the famous corner marking the beginning of the arc located within the park. Delaware may be a small state but there are plenty of things to see and do while visiting the state.
